How to Delete Your Account
Option 1: From the App
- Open Yug.
- Navigate to Settings.
- Select Account.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm your request.
Option 2: Contact Support
If you cannot access your account, email:
Subject: Account Deletion Request
Please include the email address associated with your Yug account.
What Data Will Be Deleted
Upon successful account deletion, the following information will be permanently deleted:
- User profile information
- Account details
- Conversation history
- Ritual progress and activity history
- Preferences and personalization data
- Stored spiritual journey information
- Device associations
Data That May Be Retained
Certain information may be retained for a limited period when required for:
- Legal compliance
- Fraud prevention
- Security investigations
- Backup recovery processes
Any retained information will be deleted once the applicable retention period expires.
Retention Period
Account deletion requests are processed within 30 days.
Backup systems may retain encrypted copies of data for up to 90 days before permanent removal.
